Your questions, your memory

Last updated 4 October 2026

In one minute

1Who we are

Sapere (sapereengine.com) is a search and learning service. “We” means the people who run Sapere. You can reach us at [email protected].

2When you ask a question

3When you sign in

You only need to sign in when you first press Keep this. There are no passwords.

4Your memory (My Mind)

When you press Keep this, we store the question, both answers (plain and technical), the sources, the subject, a short check question, and your progress: when each check is due and whether you tapped “I had it” or “Not yet”.

5What stays on your phone

Sapere uses your browser’s storage for small things: light or dark theme, Plain or Technical, your last few searches, and your sign-in key. Clearing this site’s data removes them. Sapere has no advertising or tracking cookies.

6Services we use

Each one gets only what it needs to do its job:

These services handle data under their own privacy policies. We pass on your question or email only, never your memory.

7Your choices

Our database provider may keep a backup copy for up to 30 days before it disappears for good. We never restore deleted memory unless you ask.

8How long we keep things

9When we might have to share

Only if the law truly requires it, for example a valid court order. If we’re allowed to, we will tell you first.

10Children

Sapere isn’t meant for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has signed in, email us and we’ll delete the account.

11Changes

If this page changes, we’ll update the date at the top. For big changes, we’ll tell you inside Sapere before they take effect.
